Before one begins to make beautiful wedding images, it is most important to understand and appreciate the love, joy, quirkiness and significance of the Bride and Groom together. What an honor it is to be invited and allowed time spent with them on a most intimate Day. The Wedding Day is a Celebration and that is so key within the Bride and Groom Wedding Pictures. We look for the photos that are warm, personal and intimate. These are to be cherished and honored for a lifetime. From the moment the Bride arrives to prepare for the day, the bride and groom kissing, through the last handshake following the reception dinner, Steve looks and waits for those key inspirational moments.
Engagement Session It is important that I meet with them and start getting to know their charm in part through the Engagement Session. Most photographers strive to create that perfect picture. Steve provides a relaxed environment that allows for the magic that brought these two together, and the spontaneity that defines the timeless moment or the moment that stops time. We will typically photograph on location; however, the studio is equally dynamic. These Sessions will range from the Old Market area, the Jesuit Gardens on Creighton University?s campus, local park settings, lakes, waterfalls all located in Omaha, Nebraska. We also provide destinations such as downtown Chicago, Los Angeles, California and other areas in the country. General tips on clothing choices and possible scenes will be discussed prior to your photography session. From this session, your images will be posted on line for all to view. In addition, special cropping, conversion to black and white or sepia or other enhancements may be requested. Many couples choose our Designed ?Save the Date" announcements which is included in our Design Services and offer an opportunity to share with all invited to share their moment. Another option are the Custom Photography Slide Shows. This electronic medium may be as simple as the favorites from the Engagement Session to as much as a time sequence when each had their baby photography, high school senior portrait and through their engagement session.
Often times, scheduling a day with the Bride prior to her Wedding is a great opportunity to capture the spirit of her hopes and dreams. Following the dress fitting, a separate Bridal Portrait is an amazing time to do a practice run. Although Steve will photograph a Beautiful Bridal Portrait on the Wedding Day, this time is it is equally important to include all of the details without having time restrictions due to the Wedding Day itinerary. One of the favorite moments that Steve looks for is mom?s reaction to her daughter?s radiant beauty. In fact, this is another portrait that may happen during this session. We invite an all inclusive session if desired, to include members of the wedding party as well as the flower girl. Many Bridal Portrait sessions culminate with a Wall Portrait or Gallery Canvas Wrap for guest viewing on the Wedding Day or for the parent?s home placed next to the Family Portrait.
