We commonly think of Couples Photography as an Engagement Session. Without making assumptions and dictating how your session will progress, Steve is first interested in learning your interests, passions and personal take on what you enjoy about each other. Whether you are playful or formal couple, we adapt to a comfort level without forcing a certain look. In any portrait session, Steve promotes a relaxed environment whether it be in a Studio Session, or as an Environmental Portrait at your home or at a preferred location in Omaha, Nebraska. With our Studio location in Los Angeles, California, I recently returned from Santa Monica where beaches photography is very popular. Their Engagement Session was very intimate and playful. As wet and sandy as it was, they embraced and rolled in the surf as the sun set with a perfect moment in front of the pier as we ended the day. Another popular location is the architectural mix found in Chicago, Illinois. It involves as much travel time as Lincoln, Nebraska, but offers amazing backgrounds for our couples photography.
By all means, include your favorite pet(s) into your session. In many cases their personalities and yours combined add to a very fun, easy going time together. Steve takes fun photography seriously. This adds dimension to the interaction and sometimes the not so obvious happens. We’re there to capture what does happen in a very unobtrusive way.
